Job Summary

This role is ideal for early-career engineers and recent CS, engineering, or data science graduates who want to master their hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries, building data pipelines, modeling relational systems, and using modern AI tools to accelerate workflow and analysis.

This role focuses on:

  • SQL development and optimization
  • Data modeling and relational entity design
  • Working with analytical datasets and transformations
  • Supporting analytics workflows
  • Creating AI agents and using MCP to collaborate with other agentic-enabled services
  • Documenting your work

Experience with LLM platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot is helpful — but not required to apply.

What You’ll Be Working On

Data Engineering & Analytics Enablement

  • Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for analytics and reporting
  • Interpret and design relational data models and entity-relationship diagrams
  • Manage datasets and transformations, primarily in BigQuery
  • Maintain and troubleshoot pipelines feeding Domo and other BI tools
  • Build and update datasets, ETL flows, and transformation logic
  • Write automation pipelines using n8n
  • Assist analysts with SQL tuning and data exploration
  • Implement data quality checks and ensure data consistency across environments
  • Document data models, transformations, and table-level business logic
  • Monitor scheduled jobs and ensure reliable data refresh cycles

AI-Powered Workflow Support

  • Contribute to AI automations connected to RPA’s data systems
  • Develop structured prompts, templates, and AI-based utilities
  • Help evaluate new LLM tools and identify high-value use cases
  • Use MCP to communicate with agentic-enabled systems
  • Use ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot for documentation, QA, and data exploration

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Translate business questions into technical data requirements
  • Work closely with analysts, media teams, developers, and platform specialists
  • Provide basic SQL and data literacy support to colleagues
  • Document AI workflows and how they tie into underlying data structures
  • Contribute to RPA technical documentation, standards, and shared best practices

How You’ll Excel In Your Role

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Demonstration of SQL skills (joins, aggregations, sub-queries, UNION, CASE, understanding of pivots)
  • Ability to understand and design entity-relationship models
  • Familiarity with LLM tools
  • Clear communication skills
  • Detail orientation with a proactive, curious mindset

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud data warehouses
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with Domo, Tableau, or similar BI platforms
  • Magic ETL, dataflows, or Domo Workflows experience
  • Experience with n8n for automation tasks
  • Basic Python for automation or API calls
  • Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
  • Prompt engineering or LLM evaluation experience
  • Familiarity with REST APIs or connector-based ingestion

This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime compensation. 

The monthly salary range for this position is $6,250 - 7,083, with an annualized equivalent of $75,000 - $85,000.
