Accounts Payable Technician The J.R. Simplot Company is a diverse, privately held global food and agriculture company headquartered in Boise, Idaho. We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture. **Summary** Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of clerical/administrative activities supporting company-wide disbursement processing. **Key Responsibilities** The Accounts Payable Technician position involves multiple dimensions and responsibilities including: + Invoice Identification + Routing invoices to the correct Simplot Approver & Location + Researching Invoice and Vendor history and payment methods + Matching and processing purchase orders to the correct receipts for payment **Typical Education** + High school diploma/GED required + Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university preferred **Relevant Experience** 3+ years related experience and/or training **Required Certifications** **Other Information** + Possess a thorough understanding of assigned accounting related functions (i.e. A/P, A/R) + SAP experience preferred + Able to operate general business machines such as computer, and similar office equipment efficientlyand accurately + Perform routine mathematical calculations + Able to accurately complete high volume of work within specified time frames + Must be punctual and have regular attendance + Works a hybrid schedule 4:1 (4 days in office, 1 day remote per week) **Job Requisition ID** : 24324 **Travel Required** : None **Location(s)** : Simplot Headquarters - Boise **Country:** United States ****The J.R.
