**Job Title:** **Warehouse Picker (1st Shift)**
**Location:** **Davenport, IA**
**Pay Rate:** **$16/hr**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Warehouse Picker** to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately sorting boxes, arranging them on the correct pick pallet for forklift operators, and handling products of various sizes-from small handheld boxes to large machine parts weighing up to 1,000 lbs. You will utilize lifting equipment and RF scanners to ensure precise inventory management and assist with loading and unloading semi-trailers.
**Schedule:**
+ **Shift:** Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM (with overtime until 2:00 AM and occasional Saturdays)
+ **Type:** Contract-to-Hire (90 days)
+ **Work Site:** Fully on-site in Davenport, IA
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Sort and arrange boxes on the correct pick pallet for forklift operators.
+ Pick and pack products of various sizes using lifting equipment.
+ Utilize RF scanners for inventory tracking and accuracy.
+ Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets.
**Essential Skills:**
+ Experience in picking and packing products.
+ Proficiency in using RF scanners.
+ Ability to operate lifting equipment and handle heavy loads.
+ Knowledge of loading/unloading procedures for semi-trailers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
+ 3-6 months of warehouse experience preferred.
+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
+ Flexibility with working hours and mandatory overtime.
+ Forklift experience is a plus (training provided if needed).

**Work Environment:**
You'll work in a large, open parts distribution center for John Deere in Davenport, IA. Our team is diverse and inclusive, focused on **quality and attention to detail** rather than productivity volume. One minor mix-up can lead to a product being shipped overseas to the wrong facility, so accuracy is critical. Dress code is casual, and the workplace is multicultural and dynamic.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
