Join us and be a driving force behind transformative energy solutions. **What you'll do:** + Generally, leads small to medium sized projects, or a portion of a larger more complex project. + Manages and maintains positive client relationship. + Manages budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for a project. + Ensures project is cashflow positive by developing schedule of values and managing client invoicing. Assists in ensuring prompt payment as required. + Organizes and leads project meetings with clients and internal departments. + Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project is on schedule and budget. + In collaboration with the project team, mitigates project risks to avoid write-downs. + Manages contract documentation requirements from kick off to closeout. + Facilitates and manages communications regarding project scope with subcontractors and clients. **What you bring to the table:** + Four-year degree in related field, or applicable experience. + 5+ years' experience, including construction team management. + In-depth knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, and water systems. + Strong negotiation skills. + Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. + Established project management skills. + Experience collaborating across multiple teams and subcontractors. + Strong financial acumen. + Strong knowledge of building construction processes and methods, building codes and permitting. + Strong computer skills, including, ERP and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel and Microsoft Projects. **YOU Matter** **PEOPLE FIRST: BUILDING TALENT BY DESIGN** At Southland we aspire to build a workforce that's as diverse as the people who occupy the buildings we design, build and maintain.
