IGC Hospitality is a home grown NYC hospitality groups looking for like minded, hospitality focused individuals for its high volume venues at The Rockaway Hotel.

We are looking for an experienced, personable, and reliable Special Events Bartender to join our team for private events, parties, and special occasions. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and love creating memorable experiences through exception service please submit your resume.

This position is specifically for Special Events on a need basis.

**Responsibilities**
Mix and serve cocktails, beer, wine and non alcoholic drinks to event guests

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Set up and break down bar stations for events
• Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and safety standards

**What we are looking for**

• Prior bartending experience (events or high volume serviced preferred)
• Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails
• Excelling customer service and communication
• Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure

**Bonus but not Necessary**

• Have your own bar tools and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working weddings, private parties, and corporate events

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift

Experience:

• Bartenders: 3 years (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Rockaway Park, NY 11694 (Required)
