DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in new product design and development projects .
• Must follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Develop code for embedded microcontroller circuits to control mixed circuits and systems.
• Assist in the providing specifications and system requirements for new products.
• Assist in component selection process for microcontroller and memory devices.
• Participate in current product support and design upgrades .
• Research component specifications to support manufacturing in managing component obsolescence .

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Must possess good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop, test, and modify software and firmware for electronic systems.
• Proven knowledge and experience with software/firmware development, test, and simulation tools.
• Basic Fundamental knowledge of electronic circuit concepts.
• Solid understanding of microprocessor and microcontroller device architectures.
• Ability to write efficient code to conserve system memory.
• Good written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts at a level required for electrical/software engineering.
• Ability to manage time between two or more projects at one time .
• Ability to apply knowledge and skills to achieve intended results.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering
• Experience in software and embedded systems design
• Basic electronic circuit design experience
• Satisfactory background check
