Position SummaryWe are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Specialist to manage and enhance our online brand presence across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for developing engaging content, fostering our online community, and driving customer engagement and traffic to our showroom. The ideal candidate has a passion for cars and a finger on the pulse of social media trends, using them to create viral content. Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Produce engaging and high-quality content, including videos, photos, and written posts, that showcases new inventory, pre-owned specials, and dealership culture.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a data-driven social media strategy and content calendar for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Community Management: Monitor and respond to customer comments, questions, and messages in a timely and professional manner. Cultivate our online community and manage the dealership's online reputation.
  • Performance Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media performance metrics. Use these insights to optimize content and campaign performance.
  • Campaign Management: Manage paid social media ad campaigns to drive brand awareness and traffic, aligning with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, service, and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with current specials, inventory, and promotions.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices

  • Employee Engagement: Create internal-facing content that highlights employee culture, including employee spotlights and team-building events.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing business social media accounts, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality and compelling photo and video content for social media.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including content scheduling and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative and strategic thinking with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A passion for the automotive industry is a plus.
