Registered Nurse (RN)Transplant/ Cellular Therapy is needed in Gainesville, FL.

This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.
Salary and Benefits
- Hourly Rate- $28.80 - $36/hr (8 years of experience) up to $43.20 (17 years of experience)
- Sign-on Bonus – $20,000 paid over 2 years
- Shift Diff for Weekends is $3.00)
- Available Shifts: Days and Nights (rotating weekends)
- Nights Shift Diff: $4.25

Responsibilities
- Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process/outcomes for the Stem Cell Transplant and hematologic disorder patients
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
- Act as an advocate for patient safety.
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent (within the last year) acute care experience.
- Acute care Oncology experience, Dialysis, or infusion.
- Prefer Recent Acute Care Experience working within a “Transplant & Cellular Therapy (TCT) / Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Blood and Marrow transplant program.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support is required
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida or current active Multistate license
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
