Job Description
Quality Manager needs 10 years of experience
Quality Manager requires:
-Previous experience as a Quality Manager is required
-Previous experience in the Metal Castings Industry is required
-Previous experience in Foundry is required
-Bachelor's Degree is a plus
-Demonstrated expertise in maintaining ISO 9001:2008/AS9100C and other quality systems.
-Experience with process improvement, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
-ASQ certification or comparable experience is required.
-Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred.
-Proficient in using MS Office applications.
Quality Manager duties:
oSupervise, train, and coordinate department personnel activities.
oImplement Quality Improvement Programs.
oEvaluate and determine the acceptance or rejection of physically and chemically tested products.
oMaintain, coordinate, and distribute updated manufacturing specifications and audit requirements.
oEnsure calibration of all test equipment and instruments at specified intervals.
oCollaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to address and resolve customer quality concerns.
oConduct internal quality audits and provide quality training to staff.
oMaintain records in compliance with company policies.
oGenerate management reports detailing quality performance and improvements.
oFoster a strong working relationship between Quality and Manufacturing teams.
