Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversee and manage all plant operations including production, quality, logistics, and safety.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to meet production targets, efficiency goals, and customer demands.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and other best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality and other departments to streamline processes.
  • Monitor plant performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage plant budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to optimize profitability.
  • Recruit, train, and develop plant staff; promote a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Maintain effective communication with executive leadership, customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely production and delivery of high-quality automotive components.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.S or B.A.) from four-year college or university. Minimum of 8 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or plant management role.

  • Proven experience in the automotive parts industry is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and automotive industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and manufacturing analytics tools. Experience with Plex is preferred.
