Role Overview:
As a key provider on our medical team, you will deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health services to the inmate population. This role is ideal for a PA who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, values autonomy, and is committed to high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care, including exams, history-taking, and ordering/interpreting labs and imaging
• Diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications
• Manage injuries using suturing, splinting, and immobilization techniques
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide urgent care services
• Perform minor surgical procedures using local anesthesia
• Document progress notes, arrange necessary consultations, and provide patient counseling
• Lead daily clinic operations, including sick call and clinical evaluations
• Collaborate with staff physicians and consulting specialists to improve care programs
• Recognize early signs of acute physical, emotional, or mental health concerns
• Deliver emergency medical services when a physician is not present

Qualifications:

• Active PA license in any U.S. state
• NCCPA certification required
• Minimum one year of experience as a Physician Assistant
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
