Now Hiring! Himalayan Pet Supply is looking for a Packaging Coordinator to join our pack.

Himalayan Pet Supply began in 2003 with two brothers, a friend and his dog, Kaos. Kaos discovered ‘churpi’ and he loved it! We spent the next four years re-engineering the people-grade cheese to make it lactose free and safe for dogs. In 2007, we launched our new dog chew at a small pet fair in Bellingham, Washington creating a new category in the industry, thus changing the dog chew class significantly.

By 2016, we became a leader in the industry as we expanded out into other pet categories, transforming our company from a single product-oriented business to a pet supply company. Job description: Packaging (Production) Coordinator

Job status: Full time / Hourly

Job responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Conduct daily inventory count and record (Cycle Counts DAILY)
• Conduct yearly inventory and record
• Track Production Batches created by reviewing Virtual Bins (output should match physical inventory)
• Provide assistance to the Supervisor as needed
• Material Handling of Inventory from/to production lines
• Responsible for the management of inventory for assigned area of the factory
• Other tasks assigned by Director of Operations

Job Requirements:

• Attention to detail
• Excellent typing and computer skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
• The ability to use email in a professional setting
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations
• Analytical skills
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Basic math skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
