Owner Operator's must have a Driver and Helper

This is 2-man Furniture Delivery & Assembly Position

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Owner Operators to join our Final Mile logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulations. As an Owner Operator, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Operate straight trucks to ensure customers furniture is delivered in a safe and timely manner.
• Load and unload cargo using body straps or dolly equipment as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and freight documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving commercially.
• Manage routes efficiently to optimize delivery times while ensuring safety.

Vehicle Requirements:

Operators must own or must be able to obtain (up front via rental) the vehicle types below.

■26ft plain white box trucks with Liftgates

■Electric (EV) Sprinter Van [High Roof]

*Truck registrations are collected during enrollment.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
• Proficiency in operating large commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with the Furniture assembly scope of work
• Ability to load and unload cargo safely using dollies equipment.
• Have problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor route or delivery issues on the road.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
• Strong communication skills for professional interaction with clients and team members.
