The Mainframe Developer will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing, and maintenance (including production support) of application code. This role requires collaboration with technical teams to develop technical solutions that implement business and system requirements. The developer will work under the supervision of a Project Manager and will be involved in delivering new or modified programs, unit testing, developing documentation, and participating in system testing with users.

Responsibilities:
- Attain a complete understanding of the Civil Case Management system and additional Judiciary applications to develop from business/system requirements.
- Develop and/or receive program specification requirements.
- Deliver new or modified programs.
- Successfully unit test work and participate in system testing of programs with users.
- Develop supportive documentation.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 5+ years of COBOL coding, testing, and debugging experience.
- 5+ years of experience with IBM OS/JCL (MVS).
- 5+ years of CICS experience, including coding, testing, and debugging.
- 5+ years of IBM/DB2 experience, including coding, testing, and debugging.
- 5+ years of experience developing supportive documentation.
- 5+ years of experience in Usability Testing (participating with users in the system testing of programs).
- 5+ years of excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external groups.
- 5+ years of Stored Procedures experience.
- 5+ years of overall technical and IT experience.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- 5+ years of IDMS to DB2 Conversion experience.
- 5+ years of IDMS/DC to CICS Conversion experience.
- Information Builders FOCUS experience.
Special Considerations:
- Hybrid position requiring onsite work 2 days per week.
