Statement of the job: The University of Maine at Augusta is looking for a Learning Experience Designer to join our Augusta or Bangor Campus. The position supports the development and implementation of high-quality, accessible, and engaging learning experiences at UMA. This position collaborates closely with faculty, instructional staff, and internal or external partners to design and enhance courses aligned with Universal Design for Learning (UDL), accessibility standards (ADA, Section 508), and evidence-based instructional design practices. This position will be hybrid based on departmental needs.

Salary: The normal hiring salary for this position is in the high 50's to low 60’s and is commensurate with training, education, and experience and will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion.
