As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will manage and maintain accurate inventory levels at the Chick-fil-A Supply Chain Development Center, supporting operational efficiency through meticulous tracking, auditing, and coordination. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of inventory or warehouse experience
• Forklift certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team-oriented with strong communication and follow-through

What You’ll Do as an Inventory Control Specialist:

• Serve as the onsite inventory leader for the Supply Chain Development Center (SCDC) team
• Manage inventory and tracking for Supplier Quality and Safety (SQS) Team projects
• Coordinate product receiving, logging, and storage with internal teams
• Oversee chicken product ordering for various internal functions (e.g., Test Kitchen, Production Design)
• Assist with inventory-related tasks such as thawing products, product cuttings, and sample setup
• Execute projects involving disposals, donations, relocations, and consolidation of inventory
• Respond to inventory-related communications promptly
• Conduct internal audits, cycle counts, and inventory checks to maintain accuracy
• Handle the appropriate disposal or processing of damaged or expired products
• Collaborate with team members to promote inventory control best practices
