Responsibilities:
1. Perform bathing, grooming, and styling services on various breeds of dogs and optionally cats according to clients' preferences, industry standards, and breed-appropriate techniques.
2. Ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of pets during the grooming process, maintaining a calm and positive environment.
3. Conduct thorough consultations with pet owners to determine desired grooming styles and needs, considering factors such as breed, size, health conditions, and skin/coat conditions.
4. Efficiently handle and restrain pets as required, considering their temperament and individual needs, while adhering to safety protocols.
5. Provide specialized services such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, brushing teeth, other as needed.

6. Assess the overall health of pets during grooming, identifying and reporting any abnormalities or concerns to the pet owner or veterinarian.

7. Monitor and maintain grooming equipment, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and safe operation.
8. Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques, at-home maintenance, and suitable grooming products for their pets.
9. Maintain accurate records of pet information, grooming services provided, and any additional notes or incidents for reference in future appointments.
10. Uphold a high level of professionalism, exceptional customer service, and positive communication with pet owners, addressing inquiries, and resolving any concerns promptly and courteously.
11. Stay updated on industry trends, grooming techniques, and products through continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a professional pet stylist/groomer, with a demonstrated ability to groom various dog and cat breeds.
2. Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles, coat types, and maintenance techniques.
3. Proficiency in using grooming equipment including clippers, shears, brushes, combs, nail grinders, and other related tools.
4. Familiarity with safe and effective handling and restraint methods for pets of all sizes and temperaments.
5. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners, colleagues, and management.
6. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time-management abilities, while maintaining a high-quality standard in grooming practices.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing situations.
8. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and some holidays, depending on customer demand and scheduling needs.
9. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
10. Certification or diploma in professional pet grooming from a reputable institution is preferred, but not mandatory.
