🎨 Graphic Designer / Illustrator – Cannabis Packaging & Marketing

Help shape the look, feel, and packaging of a growing cannabis brand.

We’re looking for a hands-on Graphic Designer with strong illustration skills and proven experience working with dielines and packaging files. This role is ideal for someone who understands how design translates from screen to shelf and enjoys bringing products to life through thoughtful, compliant, and eye-catching visuals.

You’ll play a key role in developing packaging, campaign assets, and in-store visuals that define our brand across retail locations.

🧠 About the Role

This position supports cannabis packaging, branding, and marketing initiatives, with a heavy focus on illustration, print production, and dieline execution. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, vendors, and operations to ensure all assets are accurate, production-ready, and on brand.

🌟 Key Responsibilities

🎨 Illustration, Packaging & Dielines

• Create original illustrations and graphic elements for product packaging and campaigns

• Build, edit, and finalize print-ready dielines for various packaging formats (bags, boxes, labels, jars, sleeves, etc.)

• Prepare files for production, ensuring proper bleeds, trims, layers, and compliance requirements

• Collaborate with printers and vendors to troubleshoot packaging issues and revisions

🎯 Branding & Campaign Creative

• Design promotional assets for product launches, vendor features, and retail campaigns

• Develop print and digital assets including signage, flyers, display banners, and menus

• Maintain brand consistency across all locations and platforms

📱 Social, Digital & In-Store Assets

• Design graphics for social media posts, stories, and reels aligned with brand guidelines

• Create digital menus and featured product visuals for Weedmaps, Dutchie, and in-store screens (SEED TV)

• Edit and optimize product photography and vendor-provided assets

🗂️ Production & Asset Management

• Organize and manage marketing and packaging files in Google Drive

• Maintain templates and scalable design systems for efficiency

• Support signage printing, store resets, product launches, and brand activations

✅ What We’re Looking For

🎓 Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

• Proven experience with packaging design and dielines

• Illustration experience (digital illustration preferred)

• Solid understanding of print production, file setup, and color management

• Ability to manage fast turnarounds and shifting priorities

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

✨ Bonus Skills

• Cannabis or regulated product packaging experience

• Familiarity with Canva for quick-turn needs

• Experience designing for retail environments

• Basic motion or video editing skills

• Knowledge of cannabis compliance and packaging regulations

• Experience with Dutchie or similar POS platforms
