Job Description

Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual composition. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and goals.

Duties

•Edit video content for various platforms (web, social media, advertising, internal use, etc.)
•Assemble raw footage into polished final products
•Add music, sound effects, graphics, subtitles, and transitions as needed
•Ensure consistent style, branding, and tone across all videos
•Collaborate with creative, marketing, or production teams to meet project goals
•Manage file organization and version control for video assets
•Stay current on video trends and editing tools

Requirements

•Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio or reel required)
•Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
•Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual design
•Familiarity with audio editing and color correction
•Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
•Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving

Nice To Haves

•Experience with motion graphics or animation (e.g., After Effects)
•Knowledge of social media content formats and best practices
•Understanding of basic video production (cameras, lighting, etc.)
•Ability to adapt edits for different platforms (e.g., vertical, square, widescreen)
