**EDM Programmer** Repair/Maintenance & Installation Union County , NJ, NONE + Added - 16/05/2025 Apply for Job **EDM Programmer** **Location: Union County, NJ** **Salary: 67,000-80,000** **1st Shift Opportunity** **Minimum Qualifications** + High School Diploma + Strong ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols + Mechanical and mathematical aptitude + Experience evaluating quality based on given specs **Experience Required** + 2-5+ years in **programming and setting up Wire EDM machines** + Skills in **writing programs** , **fixture design** , and collaborating with engineering and quality teams + Experience in **highly regulated industries** (preferred) + Familiarity with **CNC-based equipment** (preferred) **Key Competencies** + **Technical skills** with a growth mindset + **Team player** who gives and receives feedback well + **Dependable** , punctual, and responsible + **Productivity-oriented** and takes **initiative** **Essential Duties** + Set up and possibly operate Wire EDM, ECG, and ECM machines + Collaborate with engineers to improve manufacturing processes and design fixtures + Follow all GMP/cGMP protocols and internal SOPs + Perform first piece and in-process inspections; make adjustments as needed + Lead operators when required, especially in safety setup and instruction + Support production supervisors in resolving quality/tooling issuesThis job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
