This is a rewarding position where you’ll ensure that our high standards are met at every turn. The role requires a love for animals and skill in teaching dogs and people. Daily cleaning, nurturing care, and client interaction are included in this role.

Responsibilities
You will be providing an individualized training experience to our canine guests, which may include but is not limited to:

• Training and teaching in our programs which include Stay & Train, private lessons, phone consultations, group classes, and day school.
• Understanding the individual needs and motivations of each dog and adjusting training plans accordingly.
• Working with pet parents in their learning of dog behavior; A love for people and dogs is a must. 
• Closely monitoring the guests during both short and long-term stays.
• Maintaining relationships with our clients by providing exceptional customer service during all steps of their training journey.
• Ensuring guests’ safety with proper procedures and sanitation.
• Participating in the daily care of guests as a pet care specialist as needed. 
• Bathing dogs prior to departure from a program. 
• Partnering with our team to develop, promote, and grow services and reach our collective goals. 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
We are seeking a candidate that is above all, motivated and eager to build on the skills they have. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of professional training experience and training philosophies in line with our core values and methodology.

A passion for animals is a must, as well as a strong desire to work with people. 
As this role is essential to our daily operation, trainers must be dependable and flexible.

This position requires working early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. 
Candidates must be able to safely lift 60 lbs., and must be willing and able to handle both dogs and cats of various breeds, weights, ages, temperaments, and sizes.
