Direct Support Professional – Cedar Rapids, IA 

Full-Time | $17/hr | Rotating Schedule | Meaningful Work with Medical Skill-Building

What You’ll Do: 

  • Support residents with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, meal prep, etc. 
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful living environment 
  • Monitor and report changes in behavior or health 
  • Help with transportation to appointments or activities 
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and team members to deliver holistic care 

Schedule: 

We offer a 3-week rotating schedule with a mix of 8–24 hour shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends — perfect for someone seeking variety and work-life balance. 

Scheduling options:  

  • Full-Time Days and  Part-Time: Flexible hours between 7am–9pm
  • Casual/On-Call:  
    • Overnight shifts:
      • 4pm–8am
      • 4pm–12am
      • 12am–8am
      • 8am–8am
  • Days (Casual): 7am–5pm
  • Weekends Only: 7am–9pm

What You Need to Bring:  

  • Age 18 or older 
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance 
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written) 
  • Experience in a medical, caregiving, or healthcare setting preferred  
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate mindset
