Job Title: Data Operator
Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Operator to join our team. In this role, you will utilize Microsoft products, such as Outlook and Excel, on a daily basis. Your responsibilities will include managing phone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or internal employees, and adding service tickets. The position involves working in a central station, which serves as the hub for incoming calls. This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 3 PM to 11 PM, and you will work in an office-based environment with monitors.
Responsibilities - Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel to manage daily tasks.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate departments such as police, ER, or internal employees.
- Add and manage service tickets efficiently.
- Participate in a 6-week training program, after which a pay increase can be expected.
- Adhere to a strict schedule post-training, with floating schedules during training.
Essential Skills - Data Entry experience within the past 2 years.
- Customer service experience within the past 2 years.
- Moderate knowledge of Excel, including basic sumifs formulas.
- Clerical experience within the past 2 years.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with phone operations and monitoring incoming security signals.
- Strong typing skills.
- Experience in order entry.
Work Environment The work environment is casual, allowing employees to dress in jeans and a shirt. The position is for the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, in a UL certified workplace where two people need to be on site simultaneously. Employees will work weekends but are guaranteed two consecutive days off. Additionally, employees benefit from a four-day weekend once a month.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Evansville, Indiana.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
