Superintendent

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Superintendent. This role requires extensive experience in commercial retail and QSR construction, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects in diverse locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring all tasks are executed safely and following the project plan and quality standards
• Coordinate construction schedules, ensuring the timely completion of projects.
• Lead and coordinate the efforts of subcontractors, tradespeople, and construction teams
• Regularly inspecting ongoing work, ensuring adherence to architectural and engineering specifications
• Implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all on-site personnel
• Act as the main point of contact on-site for clients, updating them on project progress and addressing any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of construction progress, including daily reports, equipment logs, and personnel records
• Quickly address and resolve on-site issues such as delays, supply shortages, or design changes, minimizing disruption to the project timeline

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a construction superintendent or similar role in commercial construction
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles specifically for ground-up new commercial construction projects
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• OSHA 30-hour certification, First Aid/CPR, and other relevant certifications are highly preferred
• Proficient in construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and blueprint reading
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Salary And Benefits

• Starting salary at $85,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience
