The Batter Up Bakery in Temecula, CA is looking for a fulltime cake decorator to join our team. We are located on 26490 Ynez Rd Ste K. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
The Cake Decorator will be well versed in all aspects of cake decorating to include: the ability to decorate with buttercream and whip cream and cover in fondant, carve and sculpt shapes, cut-outs, and figurines.
Position Requirements/Responsibilities
Assembling, decorating and Icing of Wedding Cakes, cupcakes, and special-order cakes, Cakepops and Chocolate decoratin cookies.
Icing and stacking multi-tiered cakes
Sculpting figurines, shapes, and cut-out using molding chocolate and fondant
Occasional delivery and set up of customer wedding cake orders on Saturday and Sunday's
Minimum Physical Requirements
The position responsibilities frequently require:
reading, comprehending, and following verbal and written instructions
performing basic arithmetic to execute duties described above
ability to follow verbal and written instructions
The physical demands of the position frequently include:
repetitive bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting product weighing up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must be 18 years of age or older to work in our production facility, minimum of 2 year cake decorating experience in a bakery required. Successful candidates will have the ability to pay close attention to detail, work in a time-driven, team environment, and follow strict food safety guidelines.
