Job Description

On behalf of a leading North American manufacturer, we are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will join their IT organization at their flagship facility in Charleston, SC. This role is ideal for a technology professional who is not only strong in ERP systems but also curious, eager to learn new technologies, and thrives on solving complex business challenges in a collaborative, positive environment.

IMPACT: As a trusted partner to both IT and the business, you will support ERP and related applications across their full lifecycle—implementation, configuration, integration, testing, data reporting, and continuous improvement. In this highly visible role, you’ll be expected to build strong relationships across the organization, from the shop floor to the C-suite, ensuring systems deliver real business value and efficiency.

OFFERED: More than just a paycheck—offered is a place to grow, explore, and thrive.

  • Competitive compensation that recognizes your contributions.
  • Benefits designed with care, supporting both your career and your life outside of work.
  • Ongoing investment in your professional development and personal growth.
  • Opportunities where curiosity and problem-solving are celebrated.
  • A collaborative culture that values diverse voices and is committed to shared success today and for the future.

COMPANY / CULTURE: A company who is passionate about the people they hire and the processes they implement. They strive to create a culture of ownership within every department through every step of their processes. This is a company of empowered leaders - followers need not apply.

LOCATION: Charleston, SC – Must reside within a reasonable commute or willing to relocate upon hire (assistance provided)

IDEAL BACKGROUND: The ideal candidate brings a strong background in ERP systems along with broad experience supporting business applications across their entire lifecycle—from implementation and configuration to data reporting and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a key connector between business users, business leaders, IT, and external vendors to keep systems aligned with operational needs.
  • Configure, implement, and enhance ERP solutions (Oracle EBS or other major ERP platforms such as SAP, IFS, or Dynamics).
  • Support integrations between ERP and other business-critical applications, ensuring seamless data flow across the enterprise.
  • Partner with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues while driving enhancements.
  • Translate business processes into technical requirements and present recommendations confidently to senior leadership.
  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions to give users actionable insights.
  • Apply critical thinking to evaluate the impact of system changes across interconnected business functions.
  • Lead or support multi-tier system testing, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Take on new technologies with curiosity and initiative, figuring things out and bringing forward innovative solutions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, IT, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of business systems experience as a direct employee, preferably including a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ERP experience (Oracle EBS experience preferred, other major ERP platforms considered).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP configuration, integrations, and reporting.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels—including C-suite executives.
  • Technical proficiency with SQL-based databases; exposure to analytics, reporting tools, Domo, and Power Platform is a plus.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain business language.
  • Flexibility to travel locally as needed. Some travel to another plant may be required.
  • Reside within a reasonable commute to Charleston, SC or willing to relocate upon hire (assistance provided - must be in the USA)
  • Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder

This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who wants to blend technical depth with business insight, build trusted relationships across an organization, and continuously grow their skills while contributing to the success of a market-leading manufacturer.
