UNCOMN is seeking a Business Process Analyst to:

  • Assist in developing and refining enterprise IT architecture to support modernization and compliance goals.
  • Document current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) architecture states aligned with agency objectives.
  • Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to influence system design and integration.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in architecture governance and quality management activities.
  • Support change control, scope management, and root cause analysis efforts.
  • Prepare technical documentation, briefings, and translate complex concepts for varied audiences.
  • Identify opportunities for business process improvements and assist in user needs analysis.
  • Ensure systems and architectures comply with organizational cybersecurity guidelines.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or an additional four (4) years of related experience.
  • Must hold an active security clearance (secret or higher) granted by the U.S. government.
  • Must be comfortable and willing to satisfy DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) certification/education requirements for Enterprise Architect (651).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Understanding of government compliance, cybersecurity principles, IT modernization efforts, architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF), and modeling tools (e.g., Sparx EA, Visio).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience working within Agile/SAFe environments.
  • Prior involvement in enterprise architecture modernization initiatives within federal agencies.
