Accounts Payable Specialist — Precision, Growth & Possibility
Location: Sterling, VA (On-Site Only)
Schedule: Part-Time or Full Time | Monday–Friday | Flexible Hours
Pay Range: $22–$25 per hour
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required
Experience: QuickBooks & Excel Proficiency Preferred

What You’ll Do

• Manage invoice intake and entry using QuickBooks and internal systems.

• Process and verify vendor invoices with accurate coding across departments.

• Prioritize and process time-sensitive payments (“rush” items).

• Perform monthly vendor reconciliations and track resolution of discrepancies.

• Respond to vendor and team inquiries with clarity and professionalism.

• Support the monthly close process with timely and organized entries.

• Leverage modern accounting and communication tools—including AI-powered platforms and digital document workflows—to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications We’re Looking For

• Accounts Payable Expertise – Minimum 2 years of hands-on AP experience, with proven ability to process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage vendor relationships efficiently.

• Technical Skills – Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required; strong comfort with cloud-based systems is essential.

• AI Readiness – Open to using AI tools for invoice processing, data entry, and workflow automation to improve efficiency.
