Job Description

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Cary, North Carolina. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in accounts payable and gain valuable experience in a detail-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: - Process daily remote deposits and accurately post payments into the accounts receivable system. - Monitor payment discrepancies, investigate variances, and ensure timely reconciliation. - Collaborate with the Credit Manager and Plant Administrators to resolve payment issues with customers. - Support Accounts Payable Analysts by assisting with invoice processing and bill coding. - Perform check runs, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company procedures. - Maintain accuracy in invoice processing and coding to ensure financial records are up-to-date. - Utilize Google Suite, including Gmail, to communicate effectively and manage tasks efficiently. - Demonstrate a detail-focused and positive attitude while working independently on assigned duties. - Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. Requirements - Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field is preferred but not required. - Proficiency in 10-key typing for accurate data entry. - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with Google Suite, including Gmail, for communication and task management. - Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. - Time management skills to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. - Detail-oriented approach and positive attitude when interacting with team members and clients.
