Job Description

We are looking for a talented 2D artist to design and improve our game UI and website. You would be responsible for designing new in-game screens, creating and improving existing icons, and improving decorative assets. You would also be working on redesigning and rebranding our website and community portal.

Our game studio is called MaFi Games and we are working on a popular video game Captain of Industry, currently available in Early Access on Steam.

Job type : Fully remote, ~20 hours/week, with the potential for long-term collaboration.

Skills & Requirements

• Experience in designing game UI and UX with a portfolio demonstrating such work. Previous experience with simulation games is preferred but not required.
• Experience in icon design.
• Experience in web design is a plus.
• Strong artistic skills and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to incorporate constraints and requests into your design process.
• Ability to create visually appealing and cohesive designs that enhance the player experience.
• Passion for gaming, preferably for the simulation genre.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software.
• Effective communication skills in English for effective collaboration with an international team.
• Experience in icon design
